Born in Piraeus, Greece, son of the late George and Marika Drazinakis, Evangelos moved to Whitehouse Station, NJ in 1978. He served in the Marines with the Greek Armed Forces. He was a SNAME licensed A' Class Chief Marine Engineer and worked in merchant marine for most of his adult life. He worked for Exxon, Kolokotronis Shipping, ShipTech International as Port Engineer in NY and recently was executive VP for Performance Coatings International in West Caldwell. Evangelos was a member of the AHEPA, the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers and he was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway, NJ. He was a prolific engineer with many US Patents, who also loved photography.
